Ask the physician for sinus flush methods

Flushing the sinuses( sinus flush ) is a great idea if medication for nasal congestion and allergies has not proved as effective as it should be. However, before trying out this method, it is advisable to consult the physician.

All one needs to do is simply cup the water filled hands, and inhale some of the water through one of the nostrils, then tilt the head on either side and let the water out through the other nostril. Some people use neti pot or other squeezable bottles as prescribed by their physician and even use saline water instead of plain water.
